    Heavyn Asked

Hi! My family and I will be visiting in November and would like to watch the opening ceremonies at each park. However we heard that at DHS they have a new "rope drop" procedure. Will this affect the opening ceremonies there?

Heavyn, arriving early to be at the turnstiles when the parks open is the best way to experience quick queues and multiple rides before the crowds arrive.

Currently Disney's Hollywood Studios does not have a welcome show or technically even a rope drop. Typically guests are let through the turnstiles about ten minutes before the official opening time. While a rope used to halt guests near the Sorcerer's Hat until the opening minute, now you are allowed to head straight to your favorite attraction. While the rides might not be open yet, the FASTPASS machines usually are.

Enjoy your early morning park time! Please contact me if you have any additional questions about your November trip to visit Mickey.
