My family (2 & 4 y/o) are visiting mid-April 2018. We are going for 6 days, not including a/d days. I'm looking at a 4 day hopper+. Is that enough time at the parks if skipping HS? If we do 4 park days,1 water park & 2 rest days?

    Hi Christina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be tickled to greet your little ones at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Your plan certainly sounds like a good one. Depending on how you split your time in the parks and the resort, it sounds like you would have four days in the parks, one day in a water park and a few days of rest counting your arrival and departure days. Given the ages of your children, however, you may want to consider doing half days in the parks and returning to the resort in the afternoon to nap. When our girls were younger, we would go to the parks early in the morning, ride, eat lunch, then head back to the resort for a mid-afternoon nap. After nap time, we would either go to dinner at a park or do dinner at the resort.

Whatever your final plan is, be sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers in each park. They offer a quiet place to feed or change your little ones. They also sell some items in their on-site shop if you have forgotten something. We went in search of deodorant one day and found it in a Baby Care Center!

Christina, since you are not doing Disney's Hollywood Studios, you may be planning to visit one park twice during your visit. My family loves to do two Magic Kingdom days because there are so many attractions and rides. Given the ages of your children, I also suggest that you make dining reservations for character meals and Fast Pass+ selections.  Some of our favorite character meals are Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, Cinderella's Royal Table, 1900 Park Fare and Hollywood & Vine.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
