My family will be visiting in May 2018. One of my daughters has Autism so I am trying to do as much planning in advance. Is there a certain resort(s) that are recomended for those with Autism? and has sensory issues? thank you

    Hi Kimberly,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, where I'm more than happy to offer information to help you plan your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort!
As you know, Disney has a long history of making sure all guests have a Magical time when they visit the Happiest Place on Earth.
I'll start with sharing that all three hotels of the Disneyland Resort offer accessibility services and features to make your trip as comfortable as possible. Special Dietary Requests can also be accommodated in case your daughter needs it.
One recommendation from the Disneyland Resort (which I always love to share) is that families plan a visual schedule. Providing a visual timeline for your daughter to anticipate what the park visit will entail, including crowds, sights, sounds and smells may help her be better prepared for the experience.
There is a wonderful resource for guests with autism and cognitive disabilities available online, which you can download and print. In this guide, you will be able to read frequently asked questions and helpful tips!
In terms of attractions, there's a downloadable guide available that offers attraction details, such as information on which rides have loud noises, periods of darkness and other details to help you better plan your day.
Finally, to avoid the possibility of waiting in line at the ticket booths, I would suggest you purchase your tickets in advance.
    I hope this helps!
