My family is visiting Magic Kingdom in September. Is this one of the busier months and what would you recommend using the fastpass+ on. I have a daughter that is three and will be interested in the princesses of course. Thank you!

Hi Molly, and a big welcome from the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You've chosen a perfect time to visit Walt Disney World. It looks like you're arriving on Labor Day, and you should find that after the holiday the crowds will dwindle to the lowest they'll be all year long. It's a great opportunity to experience the Theme Parks with shorter waits for all the great things you want to do. September is still very hot, so do be prepared for that.

Depending on your family's interests, the most popular FastPass+ attractions are a good place to start your planning. Here are some ideas for you and your little princess:

    • Magic Kingdom: Meet Anna and Elsa; Peter Pan's Flight; Enchanted Tales with Belle
    • Epcot: Soarin'; Epcot Character Spot (Mickey, Minnie and Goofy meet and greet); The Seas with Nemo and Friends
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Midway Mania; Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage; Disney Junior Live on Stage
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom Park: Finding Nemo - The Musical; Festival of the Lion King; It's Tough to be a Bug
Also check out Dumbo the Flying Elephant, where your daughter can play under the circus tent while you wait for your turn to ride. It's actually a fun wait, and a nice break from the heat.

If the adults in your party would like to ride something more high-energy like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or Test Track, you can try Disney's Rider Switch Service, so one of you can ride while the other stays with the little one, and then switch without going back through the line.

There's a handy guide for Preschoolers on the Walt Disney World website that can spark some ideas, too.

I hope this helps you have a magical time with your little princess, Molly. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions. We love to help!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
