My family will be visiting Magic Kingdom July 20, and we are staying at a resort on site. I don't see any extra magic hours listed on that date for Magic Kingdom - do those hours ever change? We had planned our FP based on getting in early.

    Hi Elizabeth!

Your visit to Magic Kingdom is just around the corner and I know you're getting excited about your trip! I'm glad to hear that you are planning on taking advantage of the FastPass+ System because it will allow you to make the most of your time in the theme parks. Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app because it's the easiest way to manage your FastPass+ reservations when you are in the theme park!

Extra Magic Hours is an awesome benefit of staying at one of the Disney Resort hotels because you can enjoy access to the theme parks with a limited number of other Guests. Park Hours and Extra Magic Hours are always subject to change. There have been a few times when I have planned trips where the Extra Magic Hours schedule or the Park Hours schedule changes as my trip approaches. The best thing to do is to keep an eye on Park Hours as your trip approaches to get the latest information about when you will be able to enjoy the theme parks during your visit.

Currently, Disney's Animal Kingdom is offering morning Extra Magic Hours on July 20 and Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 a.m. I'm sorry about the change in plans, but I know that you will still be able to have a fantastic visit. You may want to consider looking for an early breakfast reservation in Magic Kingdom to get a head start on your day. I like to have breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant at 8:00 a.m. on mornings when Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 a.m. because we can start enjoying Fantasyland as soon as the theme park opens. In my experience, additional dining reservations often open up as my trip approaches and I've found some fantastic early reservations at Be Our Guest Restaurant a day in advance. So keep checking back for morning dining reservations so you can start your Magic Kingdom day as early as possible!

Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue counting down the sleeps until your visit for the latest news and announcements about the magic you will be able to enjoy in the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
