My family will be visiting the Hollywood Studios for the first time in December. We went to Magic Kingdom which was a really full day. Is Hollywood Studios the same? It looks smaller and less activities than Magic. Want to know how best to plan my day.

Greeting Nathania.  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You are correct, Disney's Hollywood Studios is a smaller park and therefore not as full of a day as at Magic Kingdom.  That's why I like it so much, Disney's Hollywood Studios is actually my favorite park at Walt Disney World.  Because it is a smaller park, we take it much more slow - wondering in all of the shops and not being rushed from attraction to attraction.  There are a lot of fun places to stop and pose for pictures or to try a new treat like the Carrot Cake Cookie from the Writer's Stop.  We also are able to enjoy our favorite attractions over and over again.  My 7 year old loves to ride The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and it is so much fun to be able to ride it several times in a row!  Disney's Hollywood Studios is also a great park to visit in the morning to use your FastPass+ selections and take in a few shows, take a break in the afternoon and head back to the resort for a swim and then head back to the park in the evening after dinner.  I also find, because it is smaller and much less walking, kids really enjoy Disney's Hollywood Studios as well.  My daughter is 7 now but she has always had a great time visiting this park!  It is always my  family's favorite day of vacation.

I hope this helps in planning your day a little bit better.  If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and ask me.  Have a great day!
