My family & I will be visiting Hollywood Studios come December. As I prepare for dining arrangements, I am stuck with a good time to schedule dinner, because I want to attend the Star Wars dessert party. Can you tell me if this will still be available?

    Hi Lisa!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World in December! December is a great time to visit! I love looking at all of the Christmas decorations throughout all of the parks and resorts.

The Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios is amazing! You can enjoy Star Wars themed treats, such as Darth Vader cupcakes, brownies, tiny tarts and more. The dates for December have not yet been released, but they are typically released six months in advanced. I have not heard any news that the dessert party will not continue, so I would assume it will still occur.

The dessert party starts at 8:15 p.m. and the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular starts at 9:00 p.m. for dates currently scheduled. When we did the dessert party, we had a light Quick Service dinner so we wouldn't get to full and we'd have plenty of room for the sweet treats! If you are looking to make an Advanced Dining Reservation, you may want to make it for 5:00 or 6:00 so you have time to eat, but won't be too full from dinner to eat your dessert.

    Magically,
    Stacy
