My family and I are visiting Disneyland next month and my oldest daughter collects pressed pennies. I was wondering if there was a map of the locations at both Disneyland and California Adventure parks

Hi, Lacy, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Collecting pressed coins is such a fun tradition during a visit to the Disneyland Resort. Did you know that the art of pressing coins into commemorative souvenirs dates back almost 200 years? Disneyland Resort has more than 150 different commemorative images that can be pressed onto a penny, nickel, dime or quarter. You can share even more fun facts about pressed coins with your daughter found here. Pressed coin machines can be found throughout Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, the Downtown Disney District, and at all three Disneyland Resort hotels. Here’s a detailed map to help you uncover these tiny treasures. This way, your daughter can ensure she doesn’t miss any pressed coin opportunities.

Before your visit, I recommend downloading the Disneyland app. This is a great tool for checking wait times, finding your favorite Characters, and even mobile ordering. Also, based on your arrival date, it looks like you’ll be in the parks for the 2019 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, featuring tasty culinary demonstrations, family-friendly seminars, and more than a dozen Festival Marketplaces celebrating the bounty of California! You won’t want to miss this scrumptious event!

Wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation filled with pressed coins, delicious food, and memorable family fun!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
