Our family is visiting Disney World this Nov/Dec ,trying to learn about FastPass + & Magic Bands. We own a timeshare offsite, so as non-resort guests, can you tell me any and all advantages to purchasing MagicBands? Heard about links on attractions?

    Hi Julie!

You are going to love the all new My Magic+ system at Walt Disney World.  Since you have several months before your vacation, I think you will enjoy reading the frequently asked questions about FastPass+ and Magic Bands through these links.

The biggest advantage of purchasing Magic Bands for off-site Guests is the convenience they offer. The Magic Bands can store your park ticket information, FastPass+ reservation information, and any Memory Maker photo package information that you may purchase. Because the Magic Band is worn on your wrist it is highly accessible when it is time to enter the FastPass+ queue.  Instead of fishing your park tickets out of your pocket/purse/backpack, you simply tap your Magic Band onto the scanner as you enter.

Since using Magic Bands with my family, I have really enjoyed not worrying about my children accidentally losing their park tickets.  The Magic Bands have been a definite winner with my family.

After you have had a chance to review the above links regarding FastPass+ and Magic Bands, please let us know if you have any other questions.  We would be happy to help you with any vacation questions you might have.

Have a MAGICAL vacation with you family Julie!
