My family & I will be visiting Disney World in June. We are very excited, but I am trying to lower our costs as much as possible. Are tickets purchased online at the Disney site cheaper than tickets purchased at the park? If so, how much is the savings

    Hi Stephanie,

Tickets purchased online at are the same price as if you were to pay for them at the gate. The only time this may be different is if prices were to go up. It's better to purchase tickets sooner rather than later as price increases do occur (one to two times per year, usually).

There's was one price increase in 2011 and it occurred in June.

For discounted tickets, I can highly recommend I've used them a few times and was happy with their service. Also check your local AAA Automobile Club office if you are a member.

Check out for lots of cost-saving tips!
