My family and I are visiting Disney World for the first time in April 2015. We will be spending 6 day, and hitting each park. We have done some research but would like to know what things (not the obvious like parades/fireworks) not to miss.

    Hi Jacqueline ~

A first trip to Disney World is always amazing and I'm super excited for you and your family! Be sure to pick up your "1st Visit" buttons at any theme park Guest Relations location. You never know what pixie dust will come your way.

I am not sure of the ages of the people in your family which may vary my answer. I'm also limited in space. I'll give you some of our "must-dos" to start and if you would like to visit again with the ages of your children, I can provide some additional information.

Character dining is always a must do. You can begin making dining reservations beginning 180 days prior to your trip. The most popular locations book up pretty fast. I would suggest making yourself a reminder of when your 180 day window will open and go ahead and make your reservations to try to get your "must do" dining locations and best selection of dining times.
