My family and I will be visiting Disney for the first time. We have a group so we will be staying off site I was wondering if you need a park ticket to visit the restaurants in the hotels? We are trying to decide if the park hopper ticket is worth ?

    Hi Andrea!

While you will need park admission for any dining location in the parks, admission for the dining locations within the resorts, such as at the Contemporary, the Boardwalk, or Coronado Springs for example, are not required.

A Park Hopper will help you if you plan on visiting say, Magic Kingdom, but then later want to have dinner at a dining location in Epcot. If you will otherwise visit just one park each day of your visit, you might find that the Park Hopper is not the best value for you this trip.

No need to worry, though. If while you are visiting you decide that you do want to park hop, you can add this feature to your tickets by going to guest relations at any of the theme parks. Hope this helps!
