Hi. Our family will be visiting California Adventure on a Saturday in May 2018 and Frozen Live at the Hyperion is scheduled for noon, 3pm and 5pm. Generally speaking which of the three show times is usually the least busy?

    Hi there Kristin!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Your trip is right around the corner, and I couldn't be more excited for you! I have seen Frozen - Live at the Hyperion on four different occasions, and it's still just as impressive now as it was when I saw it on opening day. We really can't believe a Broadway-caliber performance like this is included with park admission. From the amazingly talented Cast to beautiful costumes and wild special effects, it's a show that will be enjoyed by the whole family.

While crowd levels can be unpredictable, and you will be at the park on a busier weekend day, I cannot say for sure which showing will have less Guests present. We tend to go on attractions earlier in the day and save shows such as Frozen - Live at the Hyperion for later in the afternoon when we need a break and want to rest our feet. If other Guests feel the same way as us, it's possible the earliest show may be the least busy. I still would advise getting to the theater at least 30-60 minutes before it begins to get the best seats possible.

If you and your family are fans of Frozen, you also do not want to miss meeting the famous sisters nearby at Anna & Elsa's Royal Welcome. They are so friendly and make great conversation. It was a Character experience we will never forget.

I hope this helps, and remember we'll always be here if you need any more help planning your Disney vacations!
