Hi. My family is visiting April 2014 the week before Easter. My son wil be 4 years old. We have been to Disney World many times, but we are looking for some different experiences other than just the regular park rides and shows, Any suggestions?

    Hi, Kerri!

You are in for so much fun this April!

I understand what you mean when you say you'd like to make this visit a bit different. We've found that if we visit our favorite attractions but aim to experience what we might have missed previously, each trip feels so very different...and so much more enjoyable!

Take a look at each park's webpage and read the descriptions of attractions you've yet to see. Look for attractions that your son may have been too young to enjoy in previous visits. (Four is a crucial age for making the jump from toddler to such experiences as Magic Kingdom's The Barnstormer or Animal Kingdom's Kali River Rapids. Take a look and see what's available to you now that your little man is 4.) To be honest, we didn't try Ellen's Energy Adventure until we had visited Epcot at least 10 times, but it's a really fun experience! There are so many additional options throughout each park that you may have missed in past trips, so try to add some of those into each day. Have you played Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, watched Epcot's Reflections of China, played Where's the Fire? in Epcot's Innoventions West or taken the time to enjoy Animal Kingdom's Flights of Wonder? If not, this next trip is the time to do so.

Consider dining in locations that you have yet to try. This will change your days' and nights' routines in a very delicious way.

If your budget allows you to add something to your plans, consider Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage as a great way to have fun, meet additional characters (Hook and Pan!) and see Wishes from a whole new perspective.

There are so many more opportunities to try something new, Kerri; we're just getting started! Send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
