My family will be vacationing at WDW in June 2009. My 20 year old son (architect student) does not want to come with because he thinks he will be bored. Since he thinks he has outgrown the rides, what else does WDW have for someone his age to do?

Hi Kathy....I actually just answered another question from a mother of a 17 year old son wondering the same thing.  There are actually a lot of things to do at Disney for the "older" crowd! I will try to make the listing here for you to investigate for his interests.

*Segway tours at Fort Wilderness and EPCOT
*All tours such as Dive Quest and Dolphins in Depth   Click HERE for listings.
*Recreation such as tubing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, parasailing, golf, fishing, boating    Click HERE for listings.
*Richard Petty Driving Experience: drive or ride in a racing stock car at the track right on Disney property...expensive but a thrill of a lifetime!    Click HERE for information.
*Downtown Disney options that include Cirque du Soleil and movie theater
*ESPN club at Boardwalk for the latest sports on TV

Hope this helps him find some fun things to do outside of the parks during your visit!  I know my own children never missed a trip but we did do different things as they "grew up".
