If a family of 4 is using rider switch for a ride AND both members of PARTY 1 have fast pass+ for that ride, does the member of PARTY 2 that will ride after getting their rider switch pass from PARTY 1 also have to have a fast pass+ for that attraction?

    Hi Jessica,

I adore Disney's Rider Switch Service and am grateful for how it allows my family to enjoy all of the rides when we have little ones with us.  To answer your question, the party who was issued the Rider Switch Pass does not need to also have a FastPass+ selection made for the ride.  The Rider Switch Pass will be surrendered to the Cast Member at the attraction and your party will still be able to enter the FastPass+ queue.  It really is that easy!  Check out the above link to read more in detail about how this service works.  If you have any questions about how to use the Rider Switch Service when you are at an attraction please ask the Cast Member in attendance.  They are always very helpful and will help you understand the process for their attraction.

Thank you for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Jessica.  Please let us know if you have any further questions.  We are always happy to help!

    Blessings,
