Hi, we are a family of 4 with two daughters ages 8 and 14. We will be visiting Disney for 6 days and I am looking for help with planning our park days. We want to visit all the parks and I am trying to find out how to best maximize our time.

    Hello Amanda,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Based on my experience six (6) days is ideal for a Walt Disney World Resort visit since it will allow you plenty of time to enjoy the Theme Parks as well as your Resort Hotel. I recommend two (2) days at Magic Kingdom Park, one day each at the other three Theme Parks, and one day to enjoy your Resort Hotel or visit Disney Springs for some food, fun, and shopping! Be sure to sit down with your family and pick a few "must-do" Attractions in each Theme Park but then, I would just relax and let the rest of the magic fall into place!

I also recommend purchasing a Park Hopper Option Ticket. During my family's many visits, we have loved having the flexibility that a Park Hopper Option Ticket provides. You can start your day at one Theme Park, head back to your Resort for a nap or pool time, and then end the day at any other Theme Park that you wish to.

I suggest making your Advanced Dining Reservations at the Theme Parks first and then planning your FastPass+ selections for Attractions. Allow yourself an hour to an hour and a half to dine and then plan accordingly.

I hope this information helps. Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
