We are a family of 8 with two cars and are thinking of stopping for a couple of nights in a tent at fort wilderness campgrounds ,will we get free parking at the parks as stopping at a Disney resort and if yes will we get if for the two cars Thanks

    Hi Claire!

The Campsites at Fort Wilderness Campground offer the same amenities as any of the Disney resorts. You are simply enjoying a different type of accommodation then those at a physical resort room. But you will enjoy something they can't and that is the atmosphere of the fabulous resort watching the stars at night and hearing the sounds of nature. My husband and I have a motor coach and it is our favorite place to be when visiting Walt Disney World.

Your amenities include free parking for all of the theme parks and that can include two cars. You will show your magic band and that lets the parking attendants know you are an on site resort guest. It doesn't matter which resort as all of those guests have the free park parking. You will also be able to shop in the parks and have your purchases sent back to Fort Wilderness. You simply will pick them up at the Trading Post. You will be able to choose and personalize your Magic Bands and will also be able to make your FastPass reservations 60 days in advance. You are indeed a Disney resort guest in all ways!

If you have any questions about camping at Walt Disney World don't hesitate to ask me any questions you might have. It is a wonderful family experience and the facilities are some of the best in the country. Enjoy!
