Hi moms! My family has been to the TTDP before, but wanted to try something different like the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage this time. Is it worth it or is the TTDP better? Another suggestion? Decisions, Decisions! Thanks!

    Hi Andrea!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage!  I have been several times with my family and friends and would certainly go again.

The night starts out with desserts, treats and drinks before special pirate characters appear.  The last time we sailed, Captain Hook and Smee played limbo with the kids and made a Conga line around the room.  It was so much fun!  Once you set sail, you are treated to fun songs and a little tour around the Seven Seas Lagoon before you idle right in front of the Magic Kingdom.  This is an AWESOME vantage point to see Wishes!  Once the show is over, you get to play Disney trivia to win prizes.  It really is a great treat for the family and something adults and children will enjoy.

Another suggestion is to take a private fireworks cruise.  I have done this a couple of time and it's a great experience for everyone.  You choose from a private boat for 8 or 10 guests and it includes a driver, chips and drinks.  You can have extra special treats catered from one of the Walt Disney World resorts for an extra charge.  You are given a really nice tour of Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon with some great Disney fun facts.  You are able to view the Electrical Water Pageant as well!  Your driver will take you to the same spot as the Pirates and Pals boats to watch Wishes before heading back to the marina.  You can also take a private fireworks cruise to see Illuminations at Epcot.

You can't go wrong with any extra pixie dust on your vacation.

    Have a magical day!
