Family of 5 trying to decide where to stay first two weeks of Feb 2012. Two adults, 2 girls 10 & 8, and one boy 5. Stayed at POR in 2010 but want something with queen size beds this time. Looking at POFQ connecting rooms, Poly, or Beach Club. HELP!

If queen-sized beds are a deal-breaker, then you should rule Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter out.  As a moderate resort, it offers only double beds.  That said, two rooms there would afford your family the most space to stretch out.  If you plan on spending a good portion of your time at the Magic Kingdom, then a stay at the Poly would really simplify transportation for your family.  But if you're a pool loving bunch, then perhaps the Beach Club is the better option because the pool there is second to none.

Assuming Port Orleans French Quarter is not an option based on bed size, I would lean towards Disney's Polynesian.  Good luck with your decision!
