My family is trying to choose between Mickey's Christmas party and the Halloween party, which one is better as far as crowds?

Hi Julie! I have attended both Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and also Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and love them both. I think what really draws me are the special parades they both offer. I love the gravediggers and Haunted Mansion float for Halloween and adore the toy soldiers for the Christmas parade.

As far as crowds go it really just depends on the time of year you are in Disney. The only night I would avoid for the crowds is Halloween night and that usually sells out quickly. Late September through mid October will be the best time for the Halloween party for crowds and then mid November through about the second week of December will find it best for the Christmas parade. The crowds follow the pattern of the crowds in general with larger attendance around holidays when more guests are coming to Disney.

For the Halloween party you will find lines for the trick or treat stations where for the Christmas party there are usually fewer having to wait for the hot cocoa and cookie stations. There isn't much difference so choose which holiday appeals to you and the family.
