1st family trip to Disney. Staying @ Beach Club but have late breakfast w/Chef Mickey @ Contemporary. What's the travel time on trains bw resorts? Also w/2 kids under 5, advice on afternoon passes only vs full day, need for FP if only doing few kid rides?

    Hi Elizabeta -

Congrats on your first family trip to Walt Disney World!

We love the Beach Club - it's our favorite place to stay on property. To get to the Contemporary, it's easiest to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then take the resort monorail one stop to the Contemporary. You can also easily walk to the Contemporary. Plan for the whole journey to take about 60-90 minutes. It may take less time, but I always like to leave extra time in case you have to wait for the bus for a while.

FastPass+ reservations aren't required for any of the attractions, but if they are available for your choices I'd recommend making them. You can also choose to get FastPasses for certain character greetings.

    Have a great vacation!
