My family is travelling to Disneyland at the end of October and staying at the Grand Californian. I see there is an entrance directly into California Adventure but wondering how far it is through California Adventure to get to Disneyland.

    Hi Danielle!

October is a great time to visit the Disney parks in California. The weather should be perfect and the crowds are certainly manageable with many children being in school.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is certainly the most convenient Disney resort to stay in when visiting the parks. There is a special side entrance to the California Adventure park from this resort. To reach the Disneyland park you simply will need to walk a short distance through a little area just at the side of Downtown Disney. Both parks are very accessible to this resort.

If you are visiting California Adventure park and want to head over to the Disneyland Park you will find it very close. Both of the park's entrances are across from each other and are separated by a wide area of walkway. You just need to cross over this walkway to reach a different park's entrance. You can see the park Maps to get a better visual of the locations. Enjoy your Disney days!
