My family and I are traveling to WDW the week after Thanksgiving...there is 17 of us in our party! Can I make meal reservations online for a party this size or do I have to do it over the phone?

    Hello, Jane!

The week after Thanksgiving is an even more magical time of year than usual to visit Walt Disney World Resort! With 17 in your party, you're sure to have an unbelievably fun vacation!

For booking dining reservations for a party of this size, you should call Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE; the pull-down bar for "Party Size" on the online reservation system only goes up to 14 at this time, and a Cast Member at Dining could also help you secure what you want for a party of this size, as well as pass along specific tips if you're unsure of a date or restaurant.  In fact, the Cast Member I spoke with today stated that some WDW Table-Service restaurants prefer that a party of this size contact them directly to make reservations.  As such, when you call Disney Dining, have the list of restaurants, times and dates handy, and that Cast Member will book those she can and help get you in contact with the restaurants of those which like these arrangements to be made directly.

Don't forget that your booking window will be opening soon for the week after Thanksgiving, so get those ducks in a row and call as soon as you can to be sure that you get all of your first choice reservations. Then, let the party begin!

Have a wonderful trip; be sure to send more questions as you think of them! I'd love to help!
