Hi, my family of 7 will be traveling to WDW in Sept 2015, I was wondering how he refillable mugs work. Do you recommend every family member purchase a mug? How much do they cost? I am not sure if I would be convenient to carry all of them around all day.

    Hi Jennifer,

Congratulations on your upcoming big family trip!  I also usually travel with a big family and find that for most of our vacations we do purchase/receive Rapid Fill Mugs for each family member.  Rapid Fill Mugs are for use at your Disney Resort hotel and may be purchased for 1 day for $8.99, 2 days for $11.99, 3 days for $14.99 or length of stay for $17.99.  Currently if you have purchased a Disney vacation package with a Disney Dining Plan, 1 Rapid Fill Mug is included for each Guest in your party.  That is just another reason why I love the Disney Dining Plan!

I agree ~ carrying the Rapid Fill Mugs around all day in the theme parks would be burdensome, especially since they are for use only at your Disney Resort hotel.  Currently there is not a refillable mug program in any of the 4 theme parks.

Thank you for submitting your question Jennifer!  I hope this helps you understand the Rapid Fill Mugs and determine whether they are right for your family vacation.  If you have any more Disney vacation planning questions please come back and visit us again.  We are always happy to help!

    Blessings,
