Hi, my family will be traveling to WDW in April and both my stepson (15) and daughter (3.5) have cognitive disabilities. Do a need a DAS card for both of them, or will one be enough? Also, should I bring notes from their doctors?

    Welcome back, Julie!

I'm happy to answer another question for you! While one Disability Access Service (DAS) Card is good for the holder and up to five Guests, in this case, I suggest that you request a DAS Card for each of your children. You never know if your family might split up during the day or your son chooses to ride an attraction that your daughter isn't quite tall enough to ride. A doctor's note is not necessary, but when you request the DAS Cards you will need to explain your children's individual needs so that the Cast Member can better assist those needs. You might take a look at this helpful resource:  A Resource for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There are planning strategies, transportation information and detailed attraction information that may be very helpful when planning park experiences.
