My family are traveling 03-30-04-05 I have a son 12 and a daughter 5. I am so confused on the best resorts. I was checking out the value or moderate due to budgeting purposes. We really are looking for a stressful relaxing 1st vacation. i need help. Thanks

    Hi Maria!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

Disney's Value & Moderate Resorts are excellent choices, full of great amenities and loads of fun for your family.

My personal, top pick in the Value category would be Disney's Pop Century Resort.
This is the 'newest' of the Value resorts that are currently open. Pop Century has 3 great swimming pools, as well as great, quick-service dining options, take away snacks and shopping at Everything Pop Shopping and Dining. Bus transportation is available to the parks, waterparks and Downtown Disney from this resort location. It's big, vibrant & loads of fun!

In the moderate category, my number one choice would be Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. This quaint resort is one of the hidden gems of Walt Disney World. The kids will love the giant sea serpent waterslide at Doubloon Lagoon as well as the playground and arcade. Don't miss the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory where the beignets are an absolute "must-do" treat! My favourite added bonus at this resort location is the boat ride down the Sassagoula River which takes you to the Downtown Disney Area - where yet another entire world of shopping, dining & entertainment await!

Best of luck in your final decision making Maria. Please don't hesitate to visit us here at the Moms Panel again soon if we can be of further assistance to you in making your choice!

    Wishing you a Magical vacation!
