Kids on attraction

My family will be traveling to Disney with our 3 children (7, 5 & 5). I am worried about seating /splitting up for rides and attractions. Will I be allowed to sit with twins? Any recommendations to avoid someone missing out?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Glenny. We're so glad you stopped by! Are you super excited for your Spring visit to the Walt Disney World Resort? Magic will be blooming all around you!

As a mom of three, I totally understand your concern. It's certainly challenging to be outnumbered, isn't it? You'll be pleased to know that on most attractions, you don't have to worry about splitting up. Many, like Pirates of the Caribbean and Kilimanjaro Safaris, feature bench seating which can accommodate your family of five in one row. Attractions like The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Journey Into Imagination With Figment have car-like seating with a front and back row that your family can occupy together. On attractions with individual carts, like Peter Pan's Flight and The Seas with Nemo & Friends, you can very easily (and comfortably) split into one party of two and another party of three. For attractions like these, my husband and I try to make sure we're rotating who sits with what kids.

The attractions with bucket seating are the ones you may have to get a bit creative with to make sure no one misses out. For example, if you'd like everyone to experience racing through a diamond mine on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, one twin could be seated with mom, one twin could be seated with dad, and the 7-year old could be seated as a single rider (to board an attraction, children under age 7 must be accompanied by a person age 14-years or older). Don't worry that your 7-year old would be riding completely alone! You would all be placed together so your biggest kiddo would certainly have a parent in the seat in front or behind them.

I hope this was helpful, Glenny. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
