My family and I took advantage of the FREE dining plan with any 4 night stay last year and noticed the deal is happening again. Is this offered every fall? We will definitly plan a trip next year if so. How far in advance would it be out and we could book?

    Hi, David!

Oh, if only I knew how and when Mickey Mouse decided what special offers would be available, I would be one popular Mouseketeer!  Until it is officially posted on the WDW website, we just cannot be sure.

While historically for the past few years Free Dining has been offered from late summer until mid-December (with some excluded dates) this does not guarantee anything from year-to-year.  Over the years I have seen free dining, kids stay and play free, free Disney gift cards, and more.  While Free Dining seems to be everyone's favorite, other offers are sometimes available that can save you money.

My best suggestion to you is if you have specific dates and/or resorts that you have your heart set on, book it.  You can book up to 499 days in advance.  When and if free dining becomes available, you can call a Disney reservationist to modify your reservation (if your travel dates are applicable).  If you are more flexible, wait until mid-summer next year to see what offers will be available for Fall 2013.  (Suggestion:  if you think you might change your travel dates to get free dining, hold off on booking airfares as these are more tricky to change around!)

I really hope you get the exact travel package you are looking for.  Have a great time planning your magical 2013 vacation!
