My family was thinking of visiting the week before Easter. Is that a good time to go? We have a 1 year old and a 6 year old, so we don't want huge lines, plus we would like it warm enough to ride water rides. Do you have an alternative of other times too?

    Hi Angela,

Unfortunately, the week before Easter is one of the most crowded times at Walt Disney World. The TouringPlans.com Crowd Calendar has that week listed as a 10 for crowds (on a scale of 1-10). Many school districts have vacation that week and when schools are out, Disney is crowded.

If you're looking for warm weather and low crowds, then September and October are the right time for you to visit. September is the least busy month at WDW and the weather can still be very warm. It's almost always in the 80s then.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if we can answer any more questions.
