Character Dining with Donald Duck

My family and I are super excited to visit WDW in September. We have purchased the standard DDP & have begun looking at dining. Are all character dining’s 2 credits or does it vary by experience? How do I find out which meals cost 1 credit vs. 2?

Hello, dear Sabrina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm thrilled that you're visiting in September! You're going to love it! I was there last September, and our family had a wonderful time. We had a blast at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Many character dining experiences require a single Table Dining Credit, and some of them are hidden gems! Between you and me, you're going to have a blast at all of them!

My favorite single-credit character meals are breakfast at 'Ohana (at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort), dinner at 1900 Park Fare (at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa), lunch at Tusker House (at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park), and Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White (at Disney's Wilderness Lodge).

You will also have a fantastic meal if you go to Trattoria al Forno for breakfast, Garden Grill (at Epcot), or The Crystal Palace (at Magic Kingdom Park).

To make sure that you can do the math for all the meals you're aiming for, you can check the Dining Plan information for every restaurant at each website. You will see the accepted Dining Plans and the number of credits required for each meal right under the cost estimate, on the right side of the picture.

I'm sure that you'll find so many yummy options that you'll need to trim your list after your resEARch!

If you need help deciding on restaurants or FastPass+ reservations, please, let us know. We'll be more than happy to help, Sabrina!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
