My family will be staying at the Villas at the Grand Floridian this fall, but have a dinner dining reservation at Animal Kingdom Lodge (Sanaa). What kind of transportation would you recommend? I'm considering a taxi or Uber?

    Hi Rebecca!

Not only are you staying in a beautiful resort location but you are dining at one of my favorite restaurants on property, Sanaa. It sounds like you are making some great plans for your fall vacation to Walt Disney World.

Traveling from resort to resort has been one of the most difficult things to do over the years. There is no direct transportation and guests must transfer at the theme parks or Disney Springs which of course takes quite a bit of extra time. My suggestion has always been to take a taxi and now the Uber option is available. This will be the easiest and quickest way to reach other resorts. Give yourself about 45 minutes to call for the taxi or car and then to reach the resort of your choice. You can call yourself or you can have the valet staff assist you.

If you wanted to make a park transfer with the bus then hop on over to the Magic Kingdom and transfer there to the Animal Kingdom bus. This will take longer but it is indeed complimentary. My choice is still the taxi route!
