Hi! My family is staying at the Pop Century resort for a week in January. I know that we can enjoy the extra magic hours. However, my sister will be driving up to join us for a single day with a park hopper ticket. Will she be able to enjoy them as well?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kimberly!

With December quickly coming to and end, that means that it is almost time for your family to begin a magical adventure at Walt Disney World! How exciting!

Pop Century is a really fun resort, so I know you'll enjoy your stay there, and yes, as Disney Resort guests, you'll be able to enjoy the Extra Magic Hours at the parks. Only resort guests are privilege to these perks, so unless your sister is joining you for that night with her name on the Pop Century reservation, she won't be able to get into the park for the Extra Magic Hours. You didn't mention if you're hoping to use the morning or evening hours that day, or for which park, but especially if it's the morning hour you'll be enjoying, it's not that big of a problem. She can simply enjoy an extra hour of sleep at home before driving over to the parks to meet up with you when the park opens for regular hours. You'll still have a full day of fun with her as you explore the park and enjoy all of the attractions, parades and shows that day! She will be able to join your family in park hopping, and using the complimentary Disney Transportation to get from park to park or park to resort, so the rest of the day can be spent together for everything!

Have so much fun planning over the next few weeks, and I hope you'll enjoy the most magical vacation imaginable, Kimberly!
