My family will be staying at the Polynesian Resort. My family will be arriving by airplane then Magical Express, but my parents will be driving. They want to know how far of a walk it is from the Polynesian hotel guest long term parking lot to the hotel

Hello there, Molly! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for sending in another excellent question regarding Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!

I am a huge fan of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! It’s really not hard to fall in love with this place as soon as you arrive! The atmosphere is warm and homey while remaining tropical and distinctly Disney. The resort can feel romantic at times as you walk along the beach and look out at Magic Kingdom but can also be fun and family-friendly when you experience such amenities as the thrilling Lava Pool. Be sure to try the many delicious dining locations at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, as well! I have a tradition of stopping by Kona Cafe for some Tonga Toast as my first breakfast at Walt Disney World Resort, if that tells you anything. Regardless, there is something for every member of the family to love at this resort!

Overnight parking is available in front of the Great Ceremonial House at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Depending on where you park, the entrance of the resort is a short walk from your car. I would estimate the majority of the parking lot to be approximately five minutes from the entrance. If your parents need to drop off any luggage prior to parking their car, they may do so at the front of the Great Ceremonial House. They may also request help from Bell Services at this point, if they need assistance bringing their items to your room.

I hope this information helps you in continuing to plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
