    Will from Taiwan Asked

My family and I will be staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Disney's Animal Kingdom® Resort Area in a month. How is a room in the resort like? Is there a fridge or a microwave? Thank you :)

Hi there, Will! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Time to get excited! You’re Walt Disney World vacation is only a few short weeks away! Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is such a wonderful setting for your magical stay. This resort truly embodies the spirit of classic Spanish architecture while simultaneously capturing Disney’s unique modern aesthetic. Whether you’re starting your day with an invigorating jog around Lago Dorado or winding down at night by relaxing on one of the many hammocks along the beach, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is sure to provide the perfect backdrop for all your vacation needs!

The existing Guest rooms at Disney’s Coronado Springs recently underwent an imaginative refurbishment and now sport a gorgeous new look. Each room now has laminate flooring throughout, platform bed frames that provide additional under-the-bed storage, Keurig Coffee Makers, and a takedown shower head in the bath tub. Overall, the updated rooms feel quite luxurious!

While standard Guest rooms do not have a microwave, every room does have a mini fridge. There are also a limited number of microwaves that are available upon request. If you are interested in this, I would recommend calling the resort directly at (407) 939-1000 and making your request known. These are obtainable on a first come, first serve basis so be sure to put in your request in advance!

Microwaves are also available for public use at El Mercado de Coronado

Have fun continuing to prepare for your vacation!
