Mom And Daughter Resort Room

    Tara from MI Asked

My family is staying at Coronado Springs resort for our February trip to WDW. My husband is a smoker and he realizes that the rooms are non-smoking, however are there desinated spots at the resort or parking lot that he will be able to smoke? Thank you.

Hi Tara! No need for your husband to worry! Although smoking is not permitted in the resort rooms at Disney World, every resort  (and each park) has designated smoking areas for guests who smoke. These designated smoking locations are tucked away in outdoor areas scattered throughout the resort. On the unofficial website www.allears.net, you can pull up a map of the Coronado Springs that shows the designated smoking locations. Some buildings are closer to the smoking areas than others, so you may want to request that your room be near a designated smoking location so that your husband won't have a long walk when he feels the need to smoke.

Hope this helps! Come visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
