My family and I are staying at Animal Kingdom but will be renting a car during our stay. Will we have to pay parking at the Animal Kingdom Resort? Also, we will have to pay parking if we choose to drive to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, etc? Thanks :o)

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Laura ~

I just returned from Walt Disney World and stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is a gorgeous resort and you're in for a treat!

Standard self-parking at Walt Disney World Resort hotels is complimentary for all Resort Guests. Valet parking is currently available at select Disney Deluxe Resorts for $25 per day (this rate is always subject to change without notice).

Standard Self-parking at all of the four theme parks is complimentary for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, Annual Passholders, Premium Passholders, and Disney Premier Passport holders. They can scan your MagicBand at the parking plazas to confirm that you are a Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest.

The upside of taking a complimentary bus to the Magic Kingdom is that the buses drop you off very near the entrance. If you drive, you will have to walk or take a tram from the parking lot to the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there, you can take a monorail or ferry boat to the Magic Kingdom. For the other three theme parks (Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom), you can take a tram or walk from the parking lot to the front entrance.

Parking is complimentary for all Guests while visiting Disney Springs, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, and Disney's Blizzard Beach.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
