My family stayed at the FW cabins back in 1997 and the bunk beds were great for pre teens and teens...but now they are young adults. Are the bunk beds normal size bunks or are they for kids? My children are like 5'6 and 5'5 now.

    Terri,

We stayed in the Ft. Wilderness Cabins in October of 2006.  I am 6 feet tall, and had no problem sleeping in one of the bunk beds.  If I had to guess I would say they were only slightly longer than 6 feet though (I didn't fact check this, but I'm fairly certain).

And if you were wondering, no I wasn't in the "dog house" with the Mrs. ;-)  It's just that with three little kids, I find that sometimes the kids have a way of kicking you out of the bed.  Heck, I didn't mind.  It was nice to have other good sleeping options at the cabins, and I slept great!

By the way, did you know that the cabins have some of the highest repeat visitor rates of any of the WDW resorts?  Perhaps you did, as it sounds like you are thinking about helping support that statistic!
