My family will be in FL for Spring Break. Driving from Anna Maria Island to Orlando to visit Magic Kingdom for one full day. We are flexible on which day between April 21-25. We have two girls ages 5 and 7.5. They have never been to Disney. Help with recs?

    Hi Carolyn,

What a great trip for your princesses! When planning "which day, where" I like to rely on an independent site touringplans.com for their predictions based on historical crowd levels. Here's what I would suggest ... choose to visit Magic Kingdom on April 25th. Extra Magic Hours are scheduled at Magic Kingdom for April 22nd, 23rd and 24th. Most guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel will take advantage of these exclusive "extra" hours for hotel guests and therefore visit Magic Kingdom on these days. Because Extra Magic Hours are offered at a different park on 4/25, I believe you'll reap the benefit visiting Magic Kingdom that day.

Keep in mind, Disney can always alter the hours so it's best to check the park calendars prior to your trip. I really don't expect the crowds to be too heavy for you anyway given Easter is the prior week, but every little planning strategy helps, doesn't it?

When you arrive, head straight back to New Fantasyland to experience Enchanted Tales with Belle, Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, Princess Fairytale Hall and Dumbo. Waiting to visit New Fantasyland later in the day will prove to be much busier. Utilize FastPass+, now available to all guests visiting the parks, to experience less wait times at popular attractions. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or parade/fireworks preferred viewing areas would be a great use of your FastPass+ selections. You'll see FastPass+ kiosks throughout the park.

I'm out of room, Carolyn, but please feel free to visit me again. Enjoy your vacation!
