Can my family shop in the Downtown Disney District without using our Park passes?

    Hey there Lindsi!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm delighted you are thinking about spending time in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. I'm also very happy to inform you that you do not need a park ticket to enjoy the many shopping, eating, and entertainment options in the Downtown Disney District! On days that we don't have a park ticket or we happen to be in the area without having time to visit the parks, we often grab a bite to eat and shop to still feel like we are having that magical Disney experience. I just love that I can even purchase great Disney Parks merchandise from World of Disney without even stepping foot in the parks.

Parking is very convenient and even complimentary for three hours with validation after a $20 minimum purchase from any location in the Downtown Disney District. You can even get up to five hours of parking free with validation from any Downtown Disney table-service restaurant or AMC Theatres movie experience!

If anyone in your family is a Star Wars fan, I highly recommend checking out one of the newest Downtown Disney District attractions: Star Wars™: Secrets of the Empire. This state of the art virtual reality experience immerses you in a galaxy far, far away! Another brand new addition to the Downtown Disney District is Splitsville Luxury Lanes where you can grab a fantastic meal and even book lanes to go bowling.

I can't wait for your vacation, and if you have any other questions, please return back!
