My family was set to book for early-mid Nov, at WL. Now some friends are suggesting we wait until Jan/Feb instead. Would we find a big difference in crowds, weather, or cost? So excited to go, but we'll wait if its worth it. Kids 4&1 if it matters. Tha

    Hi Angela!

If you can go in early to mid November, then I would recommend going then.  I think it's a great time of year to visit and I've been there many times by myself.  However, I've never taken my family then because it's too difficult to pull the kids out of school for an extended time.

Some of the Christmas decorations will be out and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be up and running on select nights in the Magic Kingdom.  It's a hard ticketed event requiring a special party ticket, but it's a lot of fun and I think worth it, especially if you've never been before.

Generally speaking, the weather in January and February will usually be a little cooler than in early November, but not much.  The crowds will be a little less, except during holidays in January and February, but not by much.  There's a higher chance that a major attraction will be down for refurbishment in January and February.

Good luck with your decision.  While I think going in November would be better, I don't think it's makes that much of a difference either way, with the exception of the Christmas party and some Christmas decorations.
