My family of 3 has been saving a long time; traveling Nov 2015 for a 7 night trip. We are staying at the G. Floridian and I would like to hear reviews from guests who do not have the DVC or stay at a villa, theme park view. Is it still nice in garden room?

    Hi there, Kristen!

I'm just thrilled to hear that you're making plans to stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! This Resort ranks right at the top of my list of favorite places to stay when my family visits the Walt Disney World Resort. The Victorian charm reminds me of the small town my husband and I honeymooned in many moons ago. The rooms are gorgeous too! In fact, the last time we stayed there, we had a gorgeous Garden View room and there were tons of gardenias outside. The grounds all throughout the Resort are just magnificent. Also, when we opened our sliding glass door just a tiny bit, we could hear the horn blow from the Walt Disney World Railroad! It was pretty magical to say the least!

I can definitely understand you wanting to read reviews from other Guests who have visited. Check out Disney's Ratings and Reviews site where prior Guests have shared their thoughts, be it good, bad or indifferent. You'll also see a link to visit Trip Advisor for even more reviews from Guests all around the world. Be sure to check out the reviews on restaurants while you're on the site. Your 180-day mark for making Advanced Dining Reservations will be here before you know it and you'll want to have an idea of which eateries you'd like to visit.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question, Kristen! I sure hope this helps.

Please don't hesitate to write back in if we can help with any additional questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
