My family & I are sailing the Disney cruise w/ our daughter, she just turned 2 in March. From what I can see in our booklet & this webpage activities seem to be for children 3+; what activities are there for a 2 year old? Will they require proof o

    Hi Samantha -

How exciting to hear that you'll be sailing with Captain Mickey and his crew - for the very first time! You and your family will be in for a treat! Your little princess will be mesmerized by all the whimsical activities around her.

Your Online Check-In will require her birthdate, and her profile will also come up when she gets checked into one of the youth clubs. If she has not turned 3 and she is not potty trained yet, then you can register her for It's a Small World Nursery (hourly babysitting charges apply). The Nursery Youth Counselors are wonderfully engaging with the kids, and they plan activities that change on a daily basis. It's a wonderful place to have her spend a couple hours or so, if you plan on date night or parent alone time while on your voyage. There will be Open Houses for the Youth Clubs each day as well, so you'll need to just check out the schedule on when these are. During Open House, your whole family can play at the Oceaneer Club and say 'Hello' to all the life sized characters there from The Toy Story or Monsters Academy movies. There is no additional charge to play there, though you'll need to be there with her for that time.

My 2 year old niece's favorite spot on the ship was Nemo's Reef. It's an awesome water play area by the pool deck where little cruisers have a splashtacular time. She wanted to just hang out there all day. Don't forget the Pirates In the Caribbean Deck Party.  It's a signature Disney Cruise Line event and all families come out to party on deck. Try to pack some pirate accessories for her - and maybe some glow in the dark toys -- you'll have an awesome celebration out on the high seas!

    Hope this helps!
