Hi- We are a family of 4 who would like to run the 5k on marathon weekend 1/18. Is there anyway to assure that all 4 of us will get a spot? I'm nervous that I will get 1 or 2 but not all 4. Any suggestions.? Thanks.

    Hi Cynthia!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited for registration to open up for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend! I do have some pointers that I think will help your family:
    1. Create your Active account beforehand. This way all your information including your name, birthday, address, credit card number is already saved! This will expedite your registration process. For any one that is over the age of 18, I recommend they do the same! It's much easier for each individual to register themselves instead of one person trying to manage them all. Please visit active.com to complete your account.
    2. Be online ready to go! Registration will open up February 14, 2017 at noon EST. I like to log on a couple minutes early to make sure I'm ready to go as soon as the link goes live.
    3. Come back for the commemorative items. A lot of runners will stress themselves out trying to weigh which of the adorable commemorative items they'd like to add in to their basket! The great thing is you can go back at any time and purchase these items, as long as they are still available. Though they do sell out from time to time, it won't be nearly as quick as the races do. So get everyone registered, then go back and pick out your awesome runDisney items! I do recommend doing it immediately after though so you don't forget.
I'll be registering myself and my kiddo tomorrow and plan on using all these tips! I'll be sending pixie dust your way for you and your family to have a magical 5K. Please let me know if you have any other questions before your trip.
