My family has reserved dinner at the Coral Reef for our daughters 18th birthday. I want this to be special and am ordering a cake but my problem is we have never been to a restaurant like this before and I am nervous about how to order?

    Janie,

I would not be nervous at all. They handle special occasions all the time, and will no doubt take care of you.

But being nervous is totally understandable. First, to order a specialty cake, all you need to do is call 407-827-2253.

But you are nervous, and want to be sure everything is in order. Even if the worst happened, and they seemed to forget the cake (which I find doubtful) you should know that most of the Walt Disney World table service restaurants keep some standard vanilla and chocolate cakes on hand for last minute orders.

So even if they messed up, they have contingencies to take care of you. So I would say  you should call and place your order, and then relax and enjoy your vacation, as Disney are pros at such wonderful special touches!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
