Hi, Moms. My family and I have a quick stay in Orlando coming up at the end of the month. We are staying off property. We plan to buy 2 day park hopper tickets. Can you explain how fast pass works when park hopping? Thanks.

    Hi, Donna!

To use the FastPass+ system when park hopping, you must reserve and use your 3 initial FastPass+ selections at one park.

Say you start your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You select 3 FastPass+ attractions; Toy Story Mania, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Frozen Sing-along. Once you have used those 3 FastPass+ selections, you can then select 1 more attraction or show at any other park. Selections are subject to availability those. So, depending the time of day you plan your first 3 FastPass+ selections, there may or may not be any FastPass+ left for any of the other theme parks.

Once you have used your 4th FastPass+ selection at another park, you can then select and use the 5th selection and so on.

If this is your plan, I would suggest that you plan you initial 3 FastPass+ choices for mid-morning, starting about 11am. That way, you can use your first 3 by 1pm and then see what's available to select for later in the day at another Walt Disney World theme park.

Donna, I hope this gives you an idea about how FastPass+ works when you plan to park hop! If you more questions, please stop by and see us again!

    Happy planning,
