    Ann from FL Asked

My family and I are planning to visit WDW 07/30-08/04 and wondered how the 2012 Blockout Dates will affect our FL Resident 3 day park hopper tickets?

    Hi there, Ann!

Unfortunately, without knowing exactly the promotional you purchased, I'll have to research a best-guess answer for you. If you'd like, please feel free to drop me a line with the name of the promotional ticket, and I'll be glad to get you exact data!

If you purchased the Florida Resident Three- Day Ticket for approximately $179.99 base price, you are entitled to one Park per day; I am guessing that you added the Hopper option separately. With those tickets, blackout dates do apply. Per the fine print on the Disney Web site, all of those dates are blacked out for that particular Pass.

You'll want to click on the "View 2012 Blackout Dates" link
on this page, which will open a .pdf calendar in another window. Essentially, the summer season is greyed out from June 9 - August 16, and wintertime blackout dates are December 20 - 31 of 2012, to extend to January 4, 2013.

This ticket, also called the "Three-Day Play" Pass, will expire six months after the date of first use.

Please feel free to supply me with any other information you'd like so I can offer you the most accurate details you need for the best trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
