My family and I are planning a trip spring break of 2016. We are driving our RV, and planning on staying at the Wilderness campground. This will be our first trip to Disney for our family. How is the weather during this time of year?

    Hello, Marsha,

Thank you for your question.  Visiting sunny Florida after a Midwest winter is a perfect idea and a wonderful treat.  When you are visiting, here are the average temperatures for March and April:

March is 67 degrees with an average high of 78 degrees and an average low of 54 degrees.

April is 71 degrees with an average high of 83 degrees and an average low of 59 degrees.

There is also a chance of rain during both months.  I'd encourage you to visit a weather website and/or weather app as your trip grows closer to see current conditions. When we have visited during those months, we've often been comfortable in shorts and short sleeve shirts and sometimes found a few early mornings/evenings where a light jacket was helpful.

If you have any further questions as you continue to plan your first trip to Walt Disney World, please let us know.  We are happy to help.

Wishing you many unforgettable moments. -Kara
