Hello! My family and I are planning a trip for September 2018, it will be our second trip! I have a 2 year old who loves her nap times, so I was planning on requesting early check-in. When would be the best time to put in my request?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Morgan! Checking into my Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is a very exciting part of my trip, because it means the fun is just beginning!

But did you know I never wait until I step off Disney’s Magical Express to check in? I always log onto My Disney Experience and tackle Online Resort Check in a week or two before I’m due to depart from my local airport. Click on the START CHECK IN blue button next to your reservation a 1-2 weeks before you leave. Here, I can verify any room requests like location or perhaps being near the elevators, check on complimentary cribs or other needs. I can also verify the PIN on my MagicBand and review my credit card so there’s no need to stop by the front desk. I can go straight to the parks and await my text message that my room is ready along with the room number. When I use Disney’s Magical Express luggage tags, I know my luggage will be waiting for me, too. It’s a fantastic, time saving, VIP feel!

If you need a quiet place to rest with your daughter, you can check out the Baby Care Centers whenever you are in one of the 4 main Theme Parks. They are a great place to change, feed or rest. If you have any more questions about your upcoming vacation, please let me know! ~ Lindsey P.
