Hi, Moms! My family and I are planning a trip to 7-night cruise to Alaska on the Wonder this coming June. I know there is a formal night and a semi-formal night on the cruise. My question is how formal should we prepare for on the formal night? Thanks! :)

    Ahoy, Leah!

You are in for a vacation of a lifetime when you set sail to Alaska on the newly re-imagined Disney Wonder! Everything about Alaska is WONDERful, and you won't be able to put your camera down because you will want to capture it all. I've been lucky enough to cruise this spectacular itinerary twice, and I can't say enough about everything it offers-amazing scenery, unique ports-of-call and immersive adventures. The other exciting news about your sailing is the opportunity to experience the recent enhancements including the brand-new show, Frozen, A Musical Spectacular and a delicious southern-style dinner at Tiana's Place. And speaking of dinner, you will have one formal and one semi-formal night scheduled for your seven-night itinerary. The formal night is typically on Day Two, and you'll see a variety of attire on this evening including Mickey in his tuxedo and Minnie in her full-length gown. So it is completely up to you on how fancy you'll get on this evening. My husband and son typically wear a suit or sports coat and my daughter and I wear cocktail dresses, but you'll also see less formal than that. I know packing was a challenge for me, but the storage was ample, and I was able to utilize the under the bed space for all of our luggage. Be sure to use the Packing List as a resource as you prepare.

Leah, Alaska awaits! Enjoy planning for your voyage in the coming months, and please keep us in mind if you have any further questions.
